Jekyll

Jekyll is a Ruby framework used to create static websites from plain text.

It accepts Markdown, Liquid, HTML & CSS and produces a structured directory of static files that you can easily deploy to a server.

This can be a particularly cost-effective way to setup a website if one deploys to a service like AWS S3 with a CDN like CloudFlare in front of it.
