Quicksight is a business intelligence and data visualization tool by Amazon Web Services.

It allows you to visualize data from spreadsheets, CSV files, or connect directly to a variety of databases or AWS services, including data stored in S3.

Quicksight is primarily focused on drag-and-drop tools, but there is also a basic SQL editor that can be used if necessary.

QuickSight can be used as an alternative to other business intelligence tools, but promises to work in tandem with them in the future, allowing you to use your existing tools with QuickSight's Super-fast, Parallel, In-memory, Calculation Engine (SPICE), to quickly analyze large datasets.

QuickSight also promises to tie in with other AWS tools in the future, including Elastic MapReduce, DynamoDB, and Kinesis.
